We believe the church belongs to Jesus Christ. He is its head, and the church is His body.

God has placed all things under Christ’s authority and given Him as head over all things to the church. As members of His one body, we seek to follow His teaching, live in unity, and honor Him in all we do. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the body.

We believe in baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

Those who believe in Jesus Christ and repent are called to be baptized in His name for the forgiveness of their sins. We practice baptism by immersion in water.

In baptism, we are united with Christ in His death and burial and raised to walk in newness of life. This is a response of faith in Jesus and trust in His saving work.

We believe in one God, eternally existing as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit share the one divine nature. We worship the Father, follow His Son Jesus Christ, and seek to live by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus instructed His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The New Testament also brings together the grace of Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

We have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. Our hope for redemption is in Jesus Christ.

Sin is disobedience to God and separates us from Him. We cannot undo our sin or earn our way back to God. In His love and grace, God sent His Son to redeem us.

Jesus gave His life for our sins and rose from the dead. Through His blood, we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins. We respond to Him in faith, repentance, and baptism, and seek to walk faithfully in the new life He gives.

We believe the Bible is our sole infallible authority for faith and practice today.

Scripture is inspired by God and equips us for every good work. We look to His word to learn what to believe, how to worship, and how to live as followers of Jesus.

Every teaching and practice must be tested by Scripture. Human traditions, opinions, and creeds are subject to God’s word. We seek to handle the Bible faithfully and follow what it teaches.
